Spaghetti dinner, 5 to 7:30 p.m., Bowery Beach School House, Ocean House Road, Cape Elizabeth. Hosted by Cape Elizabeth Lions Club. Menu includes all-you-can-eat spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, soft drinks, (BYOB iF diner prefers wine or beer) and dessert. Proceeds benefit maintenance of schoolhouse.

Monday, March 26

Free income tax preparation, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., South Portland City Hall. IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers with the AARP Tax- Aide program will be available to help taxpayers of all ages with the preparation of their federal and state income tax returns. For an appointment, call 329-6911. The last appointment of the day is at 5 p.m. Walk-ins accepted if time permits.
