South Portland Police

Sept. 1

Brandon A. Stinchfield, 25, of South Portland, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. on Main Street for operating under the influence and operating with a suspended license.

Brittany N.A. Lore, 23, of Scarborough, was arrested at 4:05 a.m. on Westbrook Street for possession of scheduled drugs, operating under the influence, and refusing to submit to arrest.

Sept. 2

Timothy J. Nash, 23, of Portland, was arrested at 4:29 a.m. on Broadway for operating under the influence and operating without a license. While Nash was held in jail on the original charges, the owner of the car Nash was driving reported the vehicle stolen on Lombard Street, according to Lt. Frank Clark of the South Portland Police department. At 11:08 a.m., Nash received additional charges for burglary and theft by unauthorized taking.

Ryan John Thomson, 32, of South Portland, was arrested at 12:51 p.m. on Gorham Road for operating under the influence.

Hamilton R. Price, 30, of Portland, was summonsed on Main Street at 10:12 p.m. for possession of marijuana.

Sept. 3

Monica Champeon, 38, and a 13-year-old female, both of Romania, were summonsed at 6:25 p.m. on Philbrook Avenue for theft by unauthorized taking.

Abil Girma Teshome, 20, of South Portland, was arrested at 8:32 p.m. on Gorham Road for violation of bail conditions and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

Sept. 5

Jennifer Varney, 30, of Durham, was summonsed at 1:30 p.m. on Maine Mall Road for theft by unauthorized taking.

Joshua Bagley, 31, of Newcastle, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. on Maine Mall Road on a warrant and for theft by unauthorized taking.

Sept. 6

Christina Merrill, 33, of Portland, was summonsed at 4:53 p.m. on Broadway for operating with a suspended registration.

Sept. 7

Andrew M. Benjamin, 20, of South Portland, was summonsed at 12:04 a.m. on East MacArthur Circle for possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor.

Melissa Chasse, 23, of Portland and Shannon Pierce, 30, of New Gloucester, were summonsed at 2:41 p.m. on Maine Mall Road for theft by unauthorized taking.

Brandon Dagnese, 18, of Scarborough, was summonsed at 4:49 p.m. on Maine Mall Road for theft by deception and forgery.

Stephen R. Esquibel, 39, of South Portland, was arrested at 6:13 p.m. on Broadway for operating with a suspended license and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
