Under the direction of Beverly Hosic and Jamie Swenson, the choruses from South Portland High School and Mahoney and Memorial Middle Schools sang songs that featured student choreography, finger cymbals, marimba and percussion. The evening ended with the entire high school and middle school choruses convening on the stage to a rousing rendition of “Break, Break, Break” by Ruth Morris Gray, which brought the crowd to supportive applause.
