May 17

Carlos R. Caban, 34, of South Portland, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. for theft by unauthorized use of property and operating with a suspended license.

Frank Fowler, 63, of Portland, was summonsed at 12:49 p.m. on Broadway for operating with a suspended registration.

Wen Wang, 41, of Gorham, Sai Latha Guntaka, 37, of South Portland and Kyndra Hopkins, 22, of Gorham, were each summonsed for sale of liquor for consumption by a minor. Lt. Frank Clark of the South Portland Police Department said the department’s Community Response Unit sent 18-year-old minors into 12 businesses with liquor licenses in the city. Clark said the three charges, each in the Maine Mall area, for selling liquor to a minor all stemmed from the compliance check.

Jaime C. Payer, 36, of Westbrook, was arrested at 6:08 p.m. on Philbrook Avenue for endangering the welfare of a child.

Shawn E. Doherty, 34, of Scarborough, was taken into custody on a warrant and arrested on a fugitive from justice charge at 7:42 p.m. on Main Street.

May 18

Joelle Leeks, 45, of Yarmouth, was arrested at 2:12 a.m. on Highland Avenue for operating under the infl uence.

Aurora Smith, 24, of South Berwick, and Kabir H. Geiger, 34, of South Portland, were arrested at 1:15 p.m. on Maine Mall Road for theft by unauthorized taking and criminal trespassing. Smith was also charged with criminal trespassing.

May 19

David C. Kinsella, 39, of South Portland, was arrested at 1:43 a.m. on Main Street for operating under the infl uence.

Scott Leighton, 49, of South Portland, was taken into custody on a warrant at 1:53 a.m. on Preble Street.

May 20

Joseph Alexander, 22, of South Portland, was summonsed at 11:04 a.m. on Pine Street for operating with a suspended license.

Luke A. Stovall, 27, of South Portland, was taken into custody on a warrant at 4:41 p.m. on Cannon Road.

Gaige S. Hamilton, 20, of South Portland, was summonsed at 6:52 p.m. on New York Avenue for sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

Shane Davis, 27, of South Portland, was arrested at 8:12 p.m. on Ocean Street for operating with a suspended license, habitual offender and violating conditions of release.

Joshua J. Moore, 25, of Lisbon, was summonsed at 9:45 p.m. on Philbrook Avenue for operating with a suspended license.

May 21

A 12-year-old female was summonsed for terrorizing, assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Wescott Road.

May 22

Angela Copeland, 36, of South Portland, was summonsed at 9:15 a.m. on Wescott Road for operating with a suspended license.

Jon F. Nichols, 37, of South Portland, was taken into custody on a warrant at 10:54 a.m. on Main Street.

May 23

Emily Becka Downs, 22, of York, was summonsed at 2 a.m. on Ocean Street for possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 ounces.

Philip Gadbois, 26, of South Portland, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. on Ocean Street for violating conditions of release.

Matt Wheeler, 32, of Scarborough, was summonsed at 9:10 a.m. on Main Street for operating with a suspended license.

May 24

Brian Lynch, 40, of Scarborough, was summonsed at 10:20 a.m. on Broadway for operating with a suspended registration.

Eric D. Jacobs, 44, of Phippsburg, was arrested at 12:58 p.m. on Maine Mall Road for failure to register a vehicle, operating with a suspended registration and violating conditions of release.

Cyrita Collins, 30, of Gorham, was arrested at 2:38 p.m. on Maine Mall Road for theft by unauthorized taking and violating conditions of release.

Alex Salisbury, 18, of Readfield, and a 17-year-old female from China were summonsed at 9:24 p.m. on Maine Mall Road for theft by unauthorized taking.

Jarrod H. Brown, 22, of Gray, was summonsed at 11:49 p.m. on Philbrook Road for possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 ounces.

May 21

A 14-year-old male from South Portland was summonsed for burglary, theft and attempting to commit a crime.

May 24

Cynthia R. Rubinoff-Myers, 56, of South Portland, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. on Ocean House Road for operating under the influence and issued a summons for operating beyond license restrictions.

May 26

Matthew L. Schaeffer, 42, of South Portland, was arrested at 5:55 p.m. on Shore Road for operating under the influence.

May 27

Stanley W. Lawrence, 37, of Portland, was arrested at 4 p.m. on Shore Road on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a theft charge.

Keith E. Sapuan, 36, of Portland was arrested at 3:28 p.m. on Shore Road for operating with a suspended license and violating conditions of release.
