Meeting will focus on 2-1-1

Dialing 2-1-1 Maine connects residents to a trained operator who can guide anyone through a comprehensive statewide directory of more than 8,000 health and human services available in Maine.

The October Community Forum sponsored by South Portland/ Cape Elizabeth TRIAD will provide insight and more information about the service. The forum is free and open to all. This event will be held 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24 at Cape Elizabeth Community Center, 343 Ocean House Road. TRIAD is made up of Cape Elizabeth and South Portland senior citizens, police and community members, who work together to address problems faced by older citizens.
