Winterfest 2014

Chris Merriam, Chef at the Marriott Hotel, draws a crowd as he transforms a block of ice into Frosty the Snowman during Winterfest South Portland Saturday. The festival ran from Friday through Saturday and featured events both at Mill Creek Park and the Wainwright Recreation Complex. Many attendees took advantage of Gray-based Stillwater Acres wagon, which provided a ride to and from the event. The second annual Winterfest was made possible through a collaboration between the Rotary Club of South Portland/Cape Elizabeth and the South Portland Recreation Department, as well as sponsorship from local groups and businesses.
