Friday, March 7

Baked haddock supper, 5 to 6:15 p.m., St. Maximilian Church, Black Point Road, Scarborough. Hosted by Knights of Columbus 8144, formerly of St. John’s in South Portland. Pizza and pasta available for children.

Let Your Yoga Dance, with Arline Saturdayborn, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. A joy-filled hour of yoga, breathing and user-friendly dance with fabulous music. A funky, sacred, inspirational dance of the multidimensional self, bringing tons of fun and healing to body, mind and spirit. No registration required; no experience necessary. Free.

Saturday, March 8

Intro to board games, 2 p.m., Thomas Memorial Library, Cape Elizabeth. “The Settlers of Catan.”

Corned beef supper, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Stewart P. Morrill Post 35, 413 Broadway, South Portland. Menu includes cabbage, vegetables, dessert, coffee, tea and punch.

Sunday, March 9

Pancake breakfast, 7:30 to 11 a.m., Bowery Beach School House, Two Lights Road, Cape Elizabeth. Sponsored by Cape Lions. Menu includes French toast, eggs, sausage, coffee, tea and juice.

Farmers market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., South Portland Planning and Development building, 496 Ocean St.

Worship, 8:30 a.m. in chapel and 10 a.m. in main sanctuary, First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 301 Cottage Road, South Portland.

Worship services, 9:30 a.m., Thornton Heights United Methodist Church, 100 Westbrook St., South Portland. Everyone welcome.

Church services, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with fellowship after, Elm Street United Methodist Church, 168 Elm St., South Portland. It also hosts Bible study. A community dinner is held 4:40 to 6 p.m. every fourth Saturday of every month. No charge for dinner. Diners may make a fre will donation if they choose. FMI, call 799-0407.

Tuesday, March 11

Functional fitness, 11 a.m. to noon, Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. Fatigue-busting workout combines light aerobic exercise, strength training, balance and relaxation. FMI, call 774-2200.

Stability balls, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. Core strengthening class incorporates balance and muscle coordination for overall strength and flexibility. FMI, call 774-2200.

Greater Portland Living with Freedom, Nar-Anon family group, 6 to 7 p.m., for anyone affected by the addictive behavior of someone they love. Mercy Recovery Center, 40 Park Road, Westbrook.

Wednesday, March 12

Thursday, March 13

Cape Elizabeth High School band and chorus concert, 7 p.m., auditorium. Features premiere by wind symphony of a piece written for concert band, Bela Bartok’s “Allegro Barbaro.” Free.
