Vet to participate in study

Veterinary and Rehabilitation Center of Cape Elizabeth has become a participating hospital in Morris Animal Foundation’s Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. The study is an effort to learn how to better prevent cancer and other diseases in dogs. It is the largest and longest observational study ever undertaken for dogs, enrolling up to 3,000 golden retrievers and lasting 10 to 14 years. Although restricted to golden retrievers, results from this study will benefit all dogs.
