Mother-daughter open store

A new addition to Portland’s Arts District offers women in Maine a fresh look at shopping for lingerie. Étaín Boutique on Congress Street provides a space designed to help women feel relaxed and informed when shopping for lingerie.

Cape Elizabeth residents Marion Dillon Morris and Mackenzie Morris, the mother-daughter team behind Étaín, started the business after growing tired of hunting down the ideal underpinnings in a market dominated by ill-fitting sizes and styles.

“I was looking for a job that I was passionate about after I finished school,” said Mackenzie Morris. “I’d had it in the back of my mind that I might open my own shop, and now I had a terrific reason to do it.”
