V-Learning Community with Meatless Mainers, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. This new program offers regular gatherings to provide education and support for people who choose a vegan lifestyle. Register by calling 774-2200.

Eventide, 5:30 p.m., St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, Shore Road, Cape Elizabeth. A service of prayer and music in Celtic tradition.

South Portland High School Dollars for Scholars fundraiser, 4 to 9 p.m., Willows, 1422 Broadway, South Portland. A percentage of all sales, including take out and dine in, will benefit Dollars for Scholars.
