Chowder supper, 5 to 6:15 p.m., St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Black Point Road, Scarborough. Eat in or take out. Includes fish and corn chowder, coleslaw and bread.

Laughter yoga, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. Nina Walsh, certified Reiki master, will lead this drop in class, which is a combination of voluntary laughter that often turns to real laughter, yogic breathing and relaxation techniques. No experience necessary.

Strength training with TheraBands, 9 to 10 a.m., Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. Class will use a series of videos created for the center by local doctor and cancer survivor Ben Thompson. Class is drop in; no advance registration needed.

Greater Portland Living with Freedom, Nar-Anon family group, 6 to 7 p.m., for anyone affected by the addictive behavior of someone they love. Mercy Recovery Center, 40 Park Road, Westbrook.

Conducted by Dr. Robert Russell, selections from “The Armed Man-A Mass for Peace” will be performed by area high school students and hosted by the South Portland High School Choral program.
