Friday, May 1

Baked haddock supper, 5 to 6:15 p.m., St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Black Point Road, Scarborough. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus (formerly St. John’s of South Portland).

Laughter yoga, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. Nina Walsh, certified Reiki master, will lead this drop in class, which is a combination of voluntary laughter that often turns to real laughter, yogic breathing and relaxation techniques. No experience necessary.

Saturday, May 2

Public supper, 4:30 to 6 p.m., Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church. Menu includes casseroles, beans, salads, breads and pie. Take out available. Last monthly supper until fall.

Anti-inflammatory foods for energy, with Alison Metsker, 10 to 11 a.m., Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. Workshop demonstrates recipes to help reduce inflammation provide more energy. Participants are invited to taste all recipes. Printed recipes will be shared. To register, call 744-2200.

Eventide, 5:30 p.m., St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, Shore Road, Cape Elizabeth. A service of prayer and music in Celtic tradition.
