Asian-themed public supper, 6 p.m., Cape Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 280 Ocean House Road, Cape Elizabeth. Church member Jo Stewart, originally from Singapore, will prepare the meal that features shrimp cups, lo mein, dumpling soup, Vietnamese egg rolls, fried wan-ton, stirred vegetables and prosperity salad. Strength training with TheraBands, 9 to 10 a.m., Cancer Community Center, Main Street, South Portland. Class will use a series of videos created for the center by local doctor and cancer survivor Ben Thompson. Class is drop in; no advance registration needed.
