The South Portland High School Drama Club's production of "The Children's Hour," by Lillian Hellman won the regional one-act play competition and is advancing to the state finals. It is the first time since 2009 that South Portland has advanced to the finals, which will be held March 18 and 19 at Camden Hills Regional High School. Five actors received acting awards: Angela Moline for her role as Mary Tilford, MacKenzie Jones for her role as Martha Dobie, Claire Jackson for her role as Karen Wright, Allie Souza for her role as Amelia Tilford and Grace Chitam for her role as Agatha.
