Off to the races



Cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd and running in humidity that made for a more challenging course than usual, runners including Pete Bottomley, 50, of Cape Elizabeth (#50), Mathieu Maltais, 29, of Sherbrooke, Quebec (#4260), Jason Theobald, 31, of Portland (#4059), and Tom Thurston, 52, of Waterbury, Vermont), gave their all during the Beach to Beacon 10K, all finishing in the Top 100 of 6,338 finishers.
