Concert will feature holiday tunes on sax

Celebrate the coming of winter with a holiday concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10 at the South Portland Public Library’s main location. Saxophone quartet, Cul-de-Sax, will present a concert featuring holiday tunes.

Cul-de-Sax features the major members of the saxophone family – soprano, alto, tenor and baritone – played with style by professional musicians who have been performing together for 20 years. Its repertoire covers a wide range of musical styles and their versatility and talent will make this concert truly fun and enjoyable.

This program will be held outside of the library’s usual hours of operation, and as such, regular library services will not be available. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Admission to this event is free. Questions can be directed to South Portland Public Library at 767-7660.

The program is made possible through the support of Friends of the South Portland Public Library.
