Mad Science to visit library Dec. 3

Mad Science will visit the South Portland Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 to present their “Holiday Spectacular Science Show.” They will use indoor fireworks to create a festival of lights, share a top secret “special ice” shipped straight from the North Pole, and present magical nonmelting snow. It may be difficult at times to determine what is science and what is magic, but a Mad Scientist will explain it all.

While all ages are welcome to attend, the program is recommended for children age 5 and older.

For more information, call youth services at 767-7660, ext. 3. The event is sponsored by Friends of the South Portland Public Library.
