More than a building

A traffic controller outside the front of Eastpoint Christian Church at 345 Clark’s Pond Road in South Portland. Below right, Brian Harris and Kimberly Farwell of Stowe, Vermont watch as Pastor Scott Taube elucidates on how the church is not a building, but a movement. The church features an indoor turf field, basketball court, 100-seat cafe, 13 classrooms, two conference rooms, a children’s play area, event space and offices. The church move was financed through The Solomon Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Parker, Colorado, that helps establish and build Christian churches.
