Plant and bake sale, American Legion Hall, 413 Broadway, South Portland. Doors open at 8 a.m. for land trust members and 9 a.m. for the general public. The event ends at 1 p.m. Join the land trust at the door to get in early. Sale benefits land trust and Community Garden Collective.

Bean supper, 5 to 6 p.m., Peoples United Methodist Church, 310 Broadway, South Portland. Includes baked beans, casseroles, pies, live music and mini fair.
