Stephen Kosgei-Kibet of Kenya crosses the finish line of the Beach to Beacon just second before Ben True, North Yarmouth native and winner of last year’s race. Kibet, 30, was the runner up at the 2014 TD Beach to Beacon, finishing just ahead of True that year as well, before he returned to win in 2015, a year in which True was absent. Beneficiary of the race was Let’s Go!, is a nationally recognized program of The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center focused on increasing physical activity and healthy eating for children from birth to age 18. The organization recieved a $30,000 donation from TD Bank.
