Saturday, Nov. 4

After Hours Concert Series, 7 p.m., South Portland Public Library, Broadway, South Portland, featuring Doc’s Banjo Band.

Author Talk, 2 p.m., South Portland Public Library, Broadway, South Portland. Polly Bennell, co-author of “Transforming Memories,” will speak. “Transforming Memories” is a self-help book by three daughters of alcoholics that invites readers to use the technique of spontaneous writing to address painful memories.

Veterans Day Parade, leaves Southern Maine Community College at 10 a.m. Will continue down Broadway to Veterans Monument where there will be a short service.
