The name of the Southern Maine Community College Real Talk moderator quoted in the Feb. 23 story, “Something to talk about,” was misspelled. It is Dorcas Ngaliema.

A Feb. 16 article on city council appointments in South Portland mentioned that two volunteer groups have strict residency requirements, but incorrectly listed the planning board along with the board of appeals and the civil service commission. As with most other committees, councilors may nominate people to the planning board who live anywhere in the city, so long no more than three members live in any one of the five voting districts. with reverence, wit and top-shelf musicianship honed from years of picking in living rooms, around festival campfires and on stages from Maine and beyond. The group draws deeply from the bluegrass well, while also delivering new twists on traditional tunes and a repertoire of finely honed original material. Old Eleven’s three-part harmonies and blazing instrumental work are the cornerstones of the band’s unique and impassioned bluegrass music, straight from Maine.

Band members are Ted DeMille on guitar and vocals, Chris Dombrowski on bass, Eli Gilbert on banjo and vocals, Lincoln Meyers on guitar and vocals, and Taylor Smith on mandolin and vocals.
