Illustrator visit, 10:30 a.m., South Portland Public Library, Broadway. Jamie Hogan will discuss children’s book “Ana and the Sea Star,” which gently shows children how to be dreams and stewards of Maine beaches. Hogan will lead attendees in a search for sea stars washed onto the shores of the library, return them to the surf with a locomotion game, and draw them deep into the blue sea.
