Land trust gears up for auction

Thirty award-winning artists are scouting outdoor painting locations in anticipation of Paint for Preservation 2018.

Over the weekend of June 29-July 1, the artists will spread out across Cape Elizabeth to paint local landscapes. Their brand-new creations will then be auctioned off – some while still “wet” – at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 1 during an outdoor gala to benefit the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust. The tented reception will be held at an oceanside home with views of Richmond Island.
