On board

A team of Chicago Cubs rolls by during Cape Elizabeth Family Fun Day June 16. The Cubs comprised one truck among many during the parade that was peppering the streets with candy. Bottom left, a family from Yarmouth decided to stop by Cape Elizabeth for some family fun. From left, Alyssa Planeta, Nick Planeta, and Mila Planeta, 2. Bottom right, a Jeep full of boys and balloons rolls on while Chewbacca closely follows to accompany their slow journey down Shore Road. Bottom, Crusher, mascot for The Red Claws basketball team, offers a high five to Mattie Cesere, 2, of Cape Elizabeth, while fellow Cape resident Eli Haines, 4, gets on deck for one himself.
